The purpose of the Fire Program Analysis (FPA) system is to provide managers a common, interagency process for strategic fire management planning and budgeting. Data products and efforts derived from the FPA efforts were used in the National Strategy, such as the Wildfire Potential and Burn Probability data products, among others.
